“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know
where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the
truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you
would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

“He also told them a parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? A disciple
is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Why do you see the
speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How can you say to
your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the
log that is in your own ? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see
clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.” Luke 6:39-42

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing
and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be
eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20

“Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Your commandment makes me wiser
than my enemies, for it is ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for
your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts.
I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word. I do not turn aside from your
rules, for you have taught me. How  sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my
mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word
is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:97-105

“These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have
said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” John 14:25-27
