Goals For Emmanuel Advent Christian Church

Grow through evangelism

We are asking the Lord Jesus Christ for 40 individuals to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Strategies:
Prayer, personal invitations, non-church activities, letters of invitation, Friend Days, advertisements (TV, radio, billboards), concerts, sponsoring a radio program, community involvement, participate in community parades, church neighborhood BBQ.

Reproduce through discipleship

To disciple 60 individuals in one-on-one discipleship.
Strategies:
Prayer, mentoring, availability, cell groups, altar workers class.

Equip believers for works of service

To equip and train 60% of our regular attendees and active members for involvement in ministries and using their gifts and talents for Christ.
Strategies:
Leadership Training

Assimilate new members into the local church 

To assimilate 24 new members into the Body of Christ at Emmanuel A.C. Church.
Strategies:
Pastor's Brunch, interests and skills survey, bulletin board

Teach and proclaim God's Word in a relevant way

Teach and proclaim to the churched and unchurched the Word of God, and provide an atmosphere where worship and spiritual growth occur in every worship service of the year and in mid-week ministry nights of the year.
Strategies:
Pastor's sermons, offer child care, food, coffee, fellowship opportunities and Christian Education classes
