The Board of Christian Education (BOCE) has been working hard to provide students of all ages with a variety of opportunities to grow in the Lord.  We look forward to continuing serving you in the New Year!

On May 12th, we will be showing the family movie "Jonathan Sperry" in the Family Life Center in place of the classes.
A new set of classes will start on May 19th.

Do you find 'But God' to be in the form of a question to/of God? Perhaps an accusation! We'll be 'digging for some nuggets', so bring your bible.
GriefShare -Facilitated by Fannie-Lynn & Floyd Winship
Know of anyone who has lost a loved one? GriefShare can help. This program feature biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with death of a loved one.
Relationship Class Facilitated by Pastor Ed & Tammy Cilley and Jim & Deb White
Men and women will be taught in separate classrooms for the first three weeks of the month and on the fourth week the classes will come together for discussion. The book we will be following is "The Marriage Code".
Prayer Time Jeannette Landry will be leading a prayer time from 6:30 until 7:30 in the Prayer Room, room 204. Everyone and anyone can come to pray for anything and everything. If you have any questions, please see Jeannette.
Book Of James Study Facilitated by Paul & Fran Reynolds
Through the book of James we are going to facilitate right Christian behavior. This is going to be a great study for new believers as well as a refresher course for those who have been walking with the Lord. This class will be held in Pastor Art's office.

Faith Bible Institute courses will be conducted here at Emmanuel on Saturdays in the Gap Room 4pm - 7pm. We are looking for committed adults who can commit to a semester at a time in order to go through the Bible in 3 years. Speak with Dr Mark Ellis for information on the next semester.

Opportunities to Serve:

The Christian Education programs require many hands to make the load lighter. There are opportunities to serve in many different capacities. Please prayerfully consider the choices below and if you feel led to serve, contact the church office.  A background check is required of all adults working with children. We look forward to hearing from you!

  • Nursery volunteer during church (once a month)
  • Junior Church teacher (one month per year)
