Meet our new Senior Pastor John Tate, his wife Lisa and daughters Bryn and Ingrid!
Pastor Tate is now in his fifteenth year of ordained pastoral ministry. He is husband to his lovely wife Lisa and father to his little girls: Bryn and Ingrid. He has served the Lord in ministries in New England, the Deep South, and the Desert Southwest; ministering as a youth pastor, a house-church planter, a traveling preacher, and as a senior pastor. Pastor Tate is a man of the Word who is committed to serving Christ's kingdom by proclaiming the gospel and loving people. He is anxious to get to know you and encourage you as you walk with the Lord here in Rochester and the Seacoast Region.
The Bible tells us that Emmanuel means "God with us" (Matthew 1:23). It is our privilege on behalf of the members, friends, and staff of our church to invite you to come and share the Emmanuel Experience... "God with us!"
We believe that Jesus Christ has commissioned the church world wide to "Make Disciples". Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age" (Matthew 28:19,20).
